Slinging is hard to learn and I might hit myself in the head trying it.

We used to hold these same misconceptions about slinging. 

However, what we discovered is that this ancient tool is intrinsically human, and it is an innately satisfying experience to use. It was also easier, safer, and much more intuitive than we had imagined. It was like coming home of sorts and it planted in us a vision of what the sling could be in the modern world. 

We took that vision and worked very hard for several years to build a sling to match it. The result is the Pan Sling and the tools that support it.
