I have greatly enjoyed my Range sling. I have take several of my children to a nearby quarry to sling and it has been a fun activity and a great opportunity to spent some low key time with them. I just learned to sling from Pan slings’ videos and I’m very grateful! I have started slinging in my gym almost every morning, so I did a short video review of my sling here:

Bottom line is this is a well made, functional piece of equipment. It is packaged well, it has held up well to rough use over the last 2-3 weeks (especially to jagged quarry rocks), and I am pleased with my purchase.
I also enjoy making things, so before I bought the Range (27”) I made a half dozen different slings over the course of about 2mo. Once I received and started using my Pan Sling it instantly become the my favorite! I like it far better than the belearic style slings I’ve used and it feels much more substantial than the nylon strap or leather pouch paracord ones I’ve made. I don’t know how they taper the cord, because it’s so tight, but it makes a big difference when it comes to feel. It really is a very nice hybrid sling!

Grimm arrived last week. I'm new to slinging. Super easy to use and appears to be very durable. I'm sure i'll be ordering more once I get the hang of it.
I finally was able to take my sling out "into the wild"! And let me tell you, as a 58 year old female, this thing was FUN!!! I was, however, kinda sore the next day from slinging. Haha. Let me just say as well, when you find the perfect stones and put them at your feet.... you will never find them again among the other rocks. Seriously, what the heck.
In all seriousness, customer service went over and above. I can't say how much they are appreciated. Such quick response time and great service.

It’s a lot of fun and takes longer to learn than expected but that’s cuz I’m learning off of a video. Teaching someone they are able to learn a lot faster
I’ve tried a couple of times to order a Petra sling but demand is so high, they kept selling out. Finally I got one and I’m really impressed. This is a beautifully made sling with wonderful attention to detail and quality. Now I just need to improve my throwing skills. I need lots of practice. The online videos and tips are excellent. I cannot fault the product or web site.
I love my new pan sling. Super high quality and a complete blast to play with. We had to trim up some black walnut trees over the weekend so I’ve been practicing away with the little green nuts. The squirrels are going crazy 😝
I came across Pan Slings via clip on Facebook and thought: That looks hella fun. Iʻve never been good at throwing, so this looked like an enjoyable way to learn as well as something that would force me to get out of the house and into nature. Itʻs also just a weird thing to do--you donʻt see people using slings everyday. And I like weird things. I also found that it connects me to an ancient lineage going back 10,000 years or more, and I enjoyed the fact that I was doing something that our ancestors in the Neolithic Age had mastered.
The sling itself is comfortable, well made and aesthetically pleasing. The instructional materials are also simple and well-produced: short, easy to follow and clear. I might order another, longer sling once I become proficient at the mid-length one. The biggest challenge I have is finding round projectiles and enough space to practice safely.
Not much to say here, except that you should wax your sling regularly to keep it in tip-top condition. Pan Slings has a video, or two, on how to wax your sling. Apply to the cordage and melt with a hairdryer. Put some on the finger loop, but don't melt it, for extra non-slippiness! :-)

The quality of the sling is amazing, so much better than the home made version I had. The cracker is a great addition, love the noise it makes. Great kit. It completely exceeded my expectations ! The educational videos are perfect, really helped to progress my sling throwing quickly.
